With a heavy heart💔 and tears 😢 in my eyes nothing is more painful than trying to smile and stay positive but after many tests, injections, chemo and radiation the person changes physically and can suffer from sadness. I know a lot of y’all don’t give a crap on this post because cancer hasn’t touched you. You don't know what it's like to have fought the fight, or have a loved one fighting or has cancer. 💛💗

Catching up on my posts: My post from Tuesday is one of success for the 75 hard plan. 3 appointments made up from Monday’s plan. One Demo, and one with promises of sending statement and the last one with solid interest in saving money, but needed to set up a meeting with his bookkeeper. All hot leads. Collected 8 business cards and read more of my book. Dinner was salads and my work out was cut short due to waking up late. Overall, a productive day ending with a positive outlook for tomorrow.

Post for day 10, which will be a summary to make up for the last 2 days.
If I were to give you an analogy of the 75-day challenge before and now, it's like going from the backseat of a ride along to behind the wheel with foot on the gas... I believe that hearing the "NO" for over a year changed my mindset. I went from "positive I make it happen" to "wait and see". I made mention of the fact that this challenge has ignited a fire that was once there. My fear of not putting things down in writing because it may jinx it or keep it from happening is gone! No longer living behind fear of failure. I am putting it out there and if it happens then it was meant to be. WOW!!! All that said before my first cup of coffee. That was a little Insite to my thinking about my state of happiness. And this is a result of putting it out there... My wife was listening to my conversation with my fence repair company who just finished the job. He sent me his invoice from QuickBooks with only ACH payment as an option. You can imagine the conversation I'm sure but the end results are next Wednesday I will be writing an application for BillerGenie and putting all of his payments under one umbrella. Happy wife! She does the books, oh by the way she is the one I planted the seed with.
That is just one conversation, Wednesday was my trip to visit Blackstone again and the results, one statement and 4 more hot leads and 4 referrals, luncheon with Chamber of commerce which I will be joining. NO more back seat for me!
I will end with one more positive story. I dropped in on one of my merchants for a quick check-in and the dreaded words came out of her mouth "my terminals are down" she had been working for over two hours with her cable company with little resolve. She had internet but the connection for her cables had been disrupted somehow. She had taken one of her terminals to the back office and connected it to the router for processing cards to run her business. I asked if I could assist and changed the connection from either net to wireless and her counter terminal worked. The staff and owner were very appreciative of the help and said once again you always seem to come in at the right moment. This had happened before but still she noted with appreciation.
I'm going to leave you with a thought. Don't tell people your plans. Show them your results.

Good morning, everyone. Missed a couple of days posting but still on track with the daily tasks. This is the follow up of day 7's results 6 BC's 2 warm leads 3 productive conversations that may lead to more business and one definite NO. Thats OK, I was due for one of those stone-cold receptions where you felt like they would spit in your face if they could... Not going to ruin my day! I finished my day in this small town with a positive, "I'll be back" attitude. Tomorrow with the 2 warm leads and 3 additional stops on my list.
I will leave you today with a motivational quote.
"If you keep going you won't regret it. If you give up you will"
My wife blessed me with this quote from her daily app of wisdom and I really believe it's one that should be read daily.

Day 4. My post today is about two words. Determination and Persistence. I feel it’s one those chicken or egg questions, which ones first. I guess you can’t have one without the other.
Thoughts???
My results yesterday did not end the way I hoped but, 5 business cards was completed before my phone kicked the bucket and I retreated the the AT&T service center for assistance.
Today will have a bit of a sit back due to a fence repair being done this morning. Truly hope to be on the road by noon collecting cards and looking for that statement.

Good morning day 3, today's hamster wheel (thoughts in my head) has been spinning on the first line of the book I'm reading. "Thoughts are real". Powerful line if you put it into what drives you. I shared with my Innercircle of friends yesterday that doing this challenge has lit a fire inside of me, just like the day when I started my company. Surprisingly enough my focus was on positive forward thinking, not stalled out on the procrastination of the next visit with a merchant. I had mixed the definitiveness of purpose, persistence and a burning desire into results. Talk about a boost of confidence, it was staring me in the face.
Needless to say, posting thoughts on social media has never been a thing for me but, if all my years in the restaurant business have taught me anything, it is you never get better at doing a task until you train or do the task. Here is my attempt at self-training.
Time for coffee and some breakfast...
Ok, workout done, breakfast done and working on coffee and finishing my post. Today's focus will be on "Desire". I chose this because my calendar has no appointments and I am going to meet my goals. That is 5 business cards and I can't do that setting at home.
It is time to "Have fun and Make Money" for those who know me that was my battle cry when sending the teams off to open the restaurants.

Day 2 of the 75 day challenge. Yea that’s probably going to get old by day 49 but keeping things consistent is the key to success.
I started my day at 2:30 AM! Yep, the ideas we’re running around in my head faster than the hamster on his jogging wheel. Those ideas came to attention like soldiers on the parade field. Eureka, a solution for my new merchants pain point.
Got to stop for coffee. Back in a few.
Ok progress on yesterday’s work, it was a good day. Visited 12 businesses in a small town 35 miles from home.
I had visited this community back in April of this year so, I had some follow up visits and met with new merchants. Glad to see one of my potential merchants was on track to need new service at the end of next month. Working on her plan.
Another merchant is building a new restaurant and has his plan working says I’m in it but nothing on paper yet. Met with 5 new merchants that I’ll call, warm leads (interested but no relationship yet so no comment) remember I said yesterday, you have to build trust. Don’t expect to walk into any business and think they are going to just give you the keys to the business. I would say it takes at least 3 quality visits to know if you will move forward or at least have a timeline of when to check back for future business.
Time to finish my coffee and get started on the new day.
Up first is empty the dishwasher and clean up last night’s mess. Then to my workout, shower and hit the road to deliver my great news, the plan to fix a pain point.

Good morning, it's been a minute since my last post. Today I joined a group of individuals who have set their sights on success in 75 days. So, beware the posts will be daily and maybe it will capture the hectic daily grind of what it takes to put it out there... I think I forgot to mention that we all own payment companies and each will be fighting the same fight of getting in front of people who will give us their precious time to discuss their business. It sounds easy, but in the trying times of no staff to do the work, rising costs of everything they work with from wages to products they use. Who has time to talk to a person who claims they can save them money? First big hurdles, get attention and build trust.
I will keep you posted on my progress...
