Gather in close … it’s StoryTime with Max Handelman on JKids Radio! This story is based on Max’s book “The Shabbat Angels,” illustrated by about two angels, Tov, the good, and Rah, the bad, who visit homes around the world, blessing the ones that honor the Shabbat … but what happens when a family is not ready for Shabbat?

StoryTime is a series of engaging Jewish short stories for children and families told by dynamic master storytellers!

Maxine Segal Handelman is a storyteller for audiences of all ages, mesmerizing people on Shabbatons and weddings, at camp and in classrooms, and of course, at Tot Shabbat. Max is a recipient of the Covenant Award for Jewish Educators and is the author of the picture book “The Shabbat Angels.”
