We made it!
Swipe through for the final edition of Summer Sanity as we close out the season with easy, budget-friendly memories before back-to-school season kicks into full gear.

✨Monday: Play in the shade at Huguenot Park’s all-abilities playground, then cool off under the story tree at Bon Air Library!
✨Tuesday: Beat the heat at The Robins Nature Center at Maymont!
✨Wednesday ( ): DIY Rainbow Bubble Foam! Whip up fluffy, colorful foam for an easy outdoor sensory bin.
✨Thursday: Hit the pop-up fountains at Short Pump Park, then run around the big playground.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO!
Heading to the Amelia County Fair? Here are a few things to know before you make your way to the fairgrounds!

Location: Joe H. Paulette Memorial Park
Hours:
Friday: 5-10 PM
Saturday: 1-10 PM
Sunday: 2-6 PM

Fair Admission:
Adult admission is just $5, and kids 12 & under are FREE! Tickets can be purchased online ahead of time or right at the gate.

Parking & Shuttle Service
Parking is available at the school parking lots, with shuttle buses running to and from the fairgrounds to help get you to the fun!

Midway Rides
Ride wristbands are purchased separately from fair admission:
• Friday: $25
• Saturday: $30
• Sunday: $20 for a single wristband OR a Family 4-Pack for $70

Demolition Derby
The Demolition Derby is held at Tom Scott Park, just a short walk from the main fairgrounds. Derby tickets are separate from general fair admission and can be purchased online or at the gate.
Demo Derby Tickets:
Adult: $15
Child (4-12): $5

BYOC – Bring Your Own Chair!
Planning to catch the Demolition Derby? Bleacher seating is limited, so we recommend bringing your own chair to guarantee a comfy spot to watch the action.

Come Hungry!
Be sure to visit our Food Court, located just past the midway near the Pavilion and BBQ Pit, close to the Animal Shelter. You’ll find a variety of classic fair foods, tasty meals, sweet treats and plenty of options to fuel up for more fair fun!

Cool Off in the Exhibition Hall
Our Exhibition Hall is now AIR CONDITIONED! Stop in for a little reprieve from the summer heat while you check out the exhibits, browse the Silent Auction or visit our vendors’ tables.

Dress for the Weather
Much of the fair is outdoors, so dress comfortably, stay hydrated and be prepared for August in Virginia!
