We have been working on this week-long event for several years now. The post-modern concrete, steel and glass building is gorgeous inside but looks quite different than DC's more common neo-classical style.

Around 2000, DC Prompters spent several days making commercials for an Australian grocery store chain with the magnificent Dame Edna, a character created and played by actor Barry Humphries. Humphries was a total pro both in and out of drag. (He was straight, BTW.) He was also kind, funny, and gracious. As owner of DC Prompters, I have always loved this photo. But after the announcement of Humphries death today, I treasure it even more.
