Attended "GIRLS" Luncheon (Girls Inspired and Ready to Lead) Dec 2nd. They also partner with organizations to introduce girls to STEM fields including speech-language pathology and audiology. My mentees second row fourth and fifth from left. I am second row, third from right. The future is in great hands!

Positives to stress? Keynote speaker ASHA 2015 proposed four "upsides" that combine to build..... resilience, courage! When in the throes of stress, accept then look for the lessons you'll learn (two more keys in her book). Communicating with others & public speaking requires risk that can be stressful, even disabling for some. Developing ways to use this outlook in my work with clients. Your thoughts?
