“Twins?? They’ll be best friends!”

Except they’re not. They never have been.
Eliza was pi**ed when Octavia came home from the hospital.

They fight constantly over toys, a spot on the couch, who’s tablet is who’s (they’re the same color).
Recently they have even been fighting over CLOTHES. 😵‍💫 they don’t even wear the same size!

Do they tolerate each other? Yes
Do they sometimes play together ? Yes

But would I say they’re “best friends”. Nope.

They’re two different people.
Two different personalities.
Two different interests.

They’re in separate classrooms and have different friends at school.

Maybe one day they’ll consider each other their bestie. But for now, they’re just sisters.

“You’ve posted about being pregnant and about having a hysterectomy??”

Yup. Because both happened and I post about my life.

I accidentally got pregnant 2 weeks after meeting my husband.
Fast forward 1.5 years later and I also got a hysterectomy.

I still share my accidental pregnancy story because it’s my story and I’ll continue to share it if I want to.

“Why wasn’t I invited to the wedding??”

There wasn’t a wedding.
We eloped.

In fact both of us were married previously and those marriages were also elopements 😂

It’s obvious that paying for a wedding isn’t a priority to us.
Weddings can be extremely expensive and they’re basically just a giant party.

I have a small family, my husband has an even smaller family. We don’t really have a lot of people to even invite.

No party goers. No party.

We got married on Halloween, outside the court house by a guy we found on Facebook.
And it was the best thing I’ve ever done!

Maybe one day we’ll buy a dress and tux and take wedding photos, but that’ll be for us.

Pregnant and you just met him? Why wouldn’t you use protection??

Well, we did 🤷🏼‍♀️ and 2 weeks later that test was positive.

Did you know that the only form of prevention that’s 100% effective is abstinence?
Birth control can fail
Condoms can fail. Even if used correctly.

We were 2 consenting adults.
Who both just finalized their divorces 😂
I don’t judge though, people have been having one night stands for decades and in our case we had decided that same weekend to become gf and bf.

Fast forward and we now have a cute baby to show for it and rings on our fingers.

Oh and my name is also tattooed on his arm now 😜
