Today officially marks 44 years since Belinda was found. Belinda was an incredibly gorgeous and smart young woman with a whole life ahead of her. She made the honor roll in school and could have done anything she wanted in life. She was a new mother to a beautiful baby girl. There is no telling what she would have chosen to do for a career or how many kids she would have had. She was so excited and proud to be a mom. She was a kind and protective daughter, sister, mother, and friend. She was incredibly generous and would help anyone she could. She was and is very loved. Belinda will always be remembered and never forgotten by those who loved her dearly.

FOUND DECEASED INDIVIDUAL - 8800 BLOCK OF HAPPY JACK ROAD

CHEYENNE, WY - On the evening of July 22, 2026, deputies with the Laramie County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) responded to a report of a deceased individual discovered inside an abandoned building in the 8800 block of Happy Jack Road, Laramie County, Wyoming.

The remains were essentially skeletal.

The LCSO, in cooperation with the Laramie County Coroner's Office, is working to identify the deceased. Due to the condition of the remains, the identification process may take several months to complete.

Currently, there is no evidence to suggest foul play or a threat to the community.

No further information will be released at this time. Additional information will be released following positive identification of the deceased and notification of the next of kin.
