Storm is Gathering!

Prepare for a plunge with tonight being the precipice. Temperatures will hold in the mid 50s for a fairly pleasant night out on the town, but big changes are ahead.

Saturday's weather will be very breezy, a sign that the atmosphere is churning. Southwest winds will be kicking up dust with gusts to 25 mph, and likely more in our wind prone areas as a powerful cold front rushes in. Don't let today's (Friday) ideal weather fool you, it's the calm before the storm!

Saturday's high will be 10 to 15 degrees cooler than Friday. Sunday will be even cooler. Wet and Wild Wyoming Weather is gaining momentum and intends to crash into the weekend!

Wyoming Highway Patrol is on scene of a fire involving a semi-truck carrying multiple vehicles. This is on I-80 mile marker 196, which is west of Rawlins. At this time, no injuries have been reported, and traffic is still moving slow from the area west to Rawlins.
