Did you know that horror fiction has been around since ancient times? Most European horror fiction was based on stories from Greek and Roman mythology. One example is Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, which was heavily influenced by the story of Hippolytus. In this Greek myth, Hippolytus was reanimated by Asclepius, similarly to how the monster was reanimated by Victor Frankenstein in Shelley's novel.

Taproom Trivia is back tonight at Blue Raven Brewery! Join us at 6:30 to celebrate National Beer Lovers Day, the first game of the NFL season, and the end of summer!

As it is National Beer Lovers Day, we thought that "bubbles" would be a great category since beer is, of course, carbonated. Not quite as carbonated as W***y Wonka's fizzy lifting drink, though. After all, we've yet to see someone float off into the sky from the front porch at Blue Raven!

May the 4th be with you! We're proud to be teaming up with Blue Raven Brewery to raise funds for the Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne tonight, and the category will, appropriately for the day, be Star Wars! Join us tonight at 6:30!

Alderaan has a rich history in Star Wars. The planet was the home of Princess Leia, an outpost for the Rebel Alliance, and, unfortunately, the first target for the Death Star. It was known for it's beauty and artistic culture.
