Better look into some better back roads protection🫠.

What’s your dog’s theme song?

Had to because she is rocking the cutest apple bottom- this one could be hers!

Yep. Been making some pretty solid decisions lately šŸ˜…

Turns out riding a Yeti through the desert doesn’t suck.

āļøSave this for 3 epic Moab trails you have to ride!

Not because they’re famous…
But because they remind you how lucky you are just to be out there.

The kind of trails you dream about as a kid… (well, I did — Dustin)
watching videos, staring at photos, thinking ā€œone day I’ll ride that.ā€

And then one day… you’re here.
Same rocks….Same lines….Same unreal views.

Porcupine Rim. Slickrock. Captain Ahab.
Three bucket list rides — and we don’t take a second of it for granted. 🪣

What or where should we ride next? Or your favorite trail?
—

šŸœļø Porcupine Rim
• ~14–16 miles
• Advanced
• ~3,000 ft descent
• Shuttle recommended
• Exposure + high-speed tech
• Colorado River views the whole way

—

šŸ”„ Slickrock
• ~10.5 mile loop
• Intermediate–Advanced
• Constant punchy climbs/descents
• Painted line navigation
• Insane traction on sandstone
• No shade — bring extra water

—

⚔ Captain Ahab
• ~9 miles (via Amasa Back climb)
• Advanced / Expert
• Technical ledges + rock slabs
• High consequence exposure
• Best ridden slow + controlled
• Climb is part of the challenge

—

🧭 Tips if you go:
ā–ø Start early — desert heat hits fast
ā–ø Bring more water than you think you need
ā–ø Check tire pressure — grip is everything out here
ā–ø Don’t rush features — session and enjoy it
ā–ø Respect exposure — consequences are real
ā–ø Download maps — service can be spotty

—

šŸ™ŒšŸ»We don’t ride these places because we have to.
We ride them because we get to.

Some friendships are cute.
Some are convenient.
And then there are the ones built around campfires, sunrise hiking trails, grill goodies, and big life goals whispered under the stars.

RV camping hits different when it’s with travel friends who feel like chosen family. The kind of friends with everything in common — same wanderlust, same ambition, same ā€œlet’s book itā€ energy before the fire even dies out.

When your adventure friends head home and everything feels a little too quiet… you realize it was never just about the trip. It was about the people who made every mile, every hike, every late-night laugh unforgettable.

Next adventure loading — because the best travel friends don’t just share destinations… they share dreams. ✨

Well, today it’s running shoes—but you get the point! This tradition is still going strong. For 18 years we’ve been ā€œmarkingā€ our territory (or better yet, keeping track of our travels) with photos of our boots 🄾, shoes šŸ‘Ÿ, floppers šŸ©“ā€”whatever we’re wearing—everywhere we go!

Psst...the secret to staying longer is all in how you prep.

RVers Dustin and Sarah Bauer crafted their own reflective window shades using thick insulation fabric, shiny side out in summer to block heat, flipped for winter to trap warmth. Simple fix. Big payoff.

And that’s just one way to stretch your season without sacrificing comfort.

Keyhole State ParkšŸ›¶- WY.
Save this for your next adventure!
Definitely worth a return trip, or two!

Be in the know:
šŸ”µ 10 campgrounds- seasonal RV dump on site
šŸ”µ Electric available in some campgrounds.
šŸ”µLocated on the west side of the Black Hills, with what feels like endless touristy sights to see.
šŸ”µ Open year round with reservations required at 9 of the campgrounds from May 15th-September 15th.
šŸ”µ They have a first come first serve campground called Wind Creek. This is where we stayed because we are always winging it and we loved it.
šŸ”µ Located 22 miles from Devils tower.
šŸ”µ Keyhole offers great options for hiking, swimming, boating, skiiing, and fishing.
šŸ”µOh, and bird watching! We watched 5 eagles hunting together for hours one morning. It appeared to me a mother and possibly her immature ā€œkidsā€ just figuring it all out. -Still mostly brown and not as skilled ;)
