Deniz Sancar had no coding background and used Claude Code to build 38-0-0, a Premier League football drafting game, in a single all-nighter. It hit number 1 on the UK App Store, beating Fortnite, with 1.8 million website visitors in its first week and 100,000 plus downloads.

This story might change what you think is possible right now.

Deniz Sancar has no software engineering background. He runs a marketing company and openly admits he failed every coding assignment he ever took in college.

Last month, using an AI coding tool called Claude Code, he built a Premier League football drafting game overnight. The game is called 38-0-0. You draft a squad from randomly selected historical Premier League seasons and try to post the perfect record: 38 wins, zero draws, zero defeats.

It is currently number one on the UK App Store free games chart. Ahead of Fortnite.

The website had 1.8 million visitors in its first week. The iOS app now has over 100,000 downloads and is ranking inside the top 20 in the United States.

Here is the detail that stops me every time I read it: Apple took four full days to approve the app. Sancar built the entire product faster than that.

The idea came from watching a basketball version of the same concept go viral. NBA players were posting their scores on social media. He spotted the football version untouched, pulled an all-nighter, and got there first.

No dev team. No software degree. Just an idea, a tool, and one night.

If you haven't opened Free Fire this week, here's what actually changed.

Garena launched Fire Kickoff, a football-themed event running until June 21. And this one is worth your time before the deadline.

Football gameplay is live across every map. Revival duels with brand new mechanics change how your squad survives the late game. There's custom jersey options to rep your kit, and exclusive collectibles in the store that are gone the moment the event closes.

What sets this apart from a typical seasonal event is the revival duel system. It's not a reskin. Garena built new mechanics specifically around the football theme, which changes how you play, not just how the game looks. That's a meaningful difference and it shows in the experience.

The June 21 deadline is real. Don't wait on this one.

Is there finally going to be a real Witcher RPG on mobile? Reports say it might be happening.

CD Projekt Red is reportedly working on a full Witcher co-op RPG for PC and mobile, possibly connected to their partnership with Scopely. Unlike the card games and casual spin-offs we've gotten before, this one is said to be open-world, with real combat built around Witcher schools, Signs, potions, dodges, and parries.

The story would reportedly be set around the year 1230, long before Geralt's adventures, letting you create and customize your own Witcher from scratch.

It's still unconfirmed. CD Projekt has only said the Scopely project is real, in development, and won't launch in 2026. If this is what they're building, though, it could finally be the Witcher RPG mobile fans have wanted for years.

This is the announcement the Fortnite Mobile community has been waiting for, and a lot of people still haven't seen it.

Epic Games just revealed the Reload Elite Series 2026. It replaces Blitz Royale entirely, and what it offers is genuinely new for mobile esports: a structured competitive pathway that ends with a ticket to the Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris.

The format is built around a mini venture map using reload rules and a curated loot pool. It's faster and more competitive than what came before, and it's designed to reward skill over time, not just one good session.

How does the pathway work? Monthly online opens run first, open to all eligible players across multiple regions. Regional qualifiers follow. Then the top performers from each region earn direct entry into EWC 2026. That's it. Consistent performance gets you to Paris.

This is one of the most meaningful moves Epic has made for the mobile competitive scene. For years, mobile players have competed in a lane that felt disconnected from the biggest stages in esports. The Reload Elite Series changes that.

The regional scenes are going to heat up fast once qualifier windows open. Someone who's been grinding on their phone every day is going to end up on the Esports World Cup stage, and nobody is talking about them yet.

MLBB just made the announcement I genuinely didn't see coming.

Survival Mode is officially returning this September. New map, new features, and Advanced Server testing kicks off in July before the full launch.

For anyone who wasn't playing back in 2018: Survival Mode is MLBB's battle royale. You drop into a massive map with two teammates against 96 other players. Last squad alive wins. It was intense when it launched and based on what's been announced, this version is a serious upgrade.

What's worth noting is how they're handling the rollout. Testing with real players in July before September tells you the developers actually care how this one lands.
