🦐🧀 Crispy Shrimp & Cheese Wontons

A crunchy easy family appetizer bursting with cheesy goodness.

📝 Ingredients:

20 wonton wrappers
1 lb small shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
4 oz cream cheese, softened
2 green onions, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp soy sauce
½ tsp sesame oil
¼ tsp black pepper
1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
Vegetable oil, for frying
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

🍴 How to prepare it:

1️⃣ Prepare the Filling:
In a bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Mix until well blended. This creates the best homemade appetizer, easy party food, and cheesy seafood snack.

2️⃣ Fill the Wontons:
Place 1 tablespoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Brush the edges with beaten egg, fold into triangles, and press firmly to seal. This step makes an easy finger food, crowd-pleasing recipe, and make-ahead appetizer idea.

3️⃣ Heat the Oil:
In a deep skillet or pot, heat 2 inches of vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Maintaining the correct temperature ensures the crispiest fried wontons, golden appetizer perfection, and restaurant-style results.

4️⃣ Fry Until Golden:
Working in batches, fry the wontons for 2–3 minutes per side until deeply golden brown and crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. This transforms them into the ultimate seafood appetizer, party favorite recipe, and easy entertaining dish.

5️⃣ Garnish and Serve:
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve warm with sweet chili sauce, spicy mayo, or your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy this easy family snack, game day favorite, and seafood lover's dream appetizer.
