If you ever received a copy of my book, A Husband Scorned, Myom Ebenezer posted, or handed it over to you.

He's been my rock!

He never complains. Very polite. He tolerates my diva rages and anxieties. He gets that I'm actually harmless. Sometimes I wonder how I would have managed without him.

There was a day he wasn't available, I sent a young lady to the courier service. When they saw the books, they asked immediately if all was well with Ebenezer.

She returned and asked who Ebenezer was. She said all the staff asked after him because they had come to associate the book with only one person. He has become their friend too.

Sometimes, when I pay for his services, I would tease him that he's made more profit off the publication than myself. Yet, he deserves more.

When I started this journey, he began with me. So far, so very good!

This post is therefore dedicated to this patient, highly respectful young man.

By the way, he's seeing himself through school.
He's gonna be great! I just know it!

PS: There's a snag, tho...
He hasn't read the book.

EXCERPT FROM MY BOOK, "A HUSBAND SCORNED''...

Her beauty helped with the line of work she chose. There were always men in her life to feed her insatiable appetite for s*x and put money in her purse.

They came and left. None ever stayed beyond three months. Agnes loved variety; she had an apathy towards relationships. The men who cared about her were forced to flee when she deliberately brought on the drama.

I got exposed to adult life quite early. My mum made me an experienced virgin. This sounds strange, I know. It's the best way I can stress that I had s*x before I actually had s*x. Plenty of it; by proxy.

While the drifters had my mum in our bed at night, I sometimes watched from the floor where I laid. Did you just ask “what kid watches their parents doing it?” My answer is this: What you grow up seeing on a regular basis becomes normal to you. I felt no shame or embarrassment watching them grind, moan and shudder in ecstasy. What I felt was curiosity and nothing more.

“Don’t go and do it with the boys in this area, you hear!” My mum sounded that warning the morning after the night she caught me watching one of her romps.

Our eyes had met and she grimaced in disapproval. I shut my eyes. I opened them a few seconds later to find that her eyes were still glued to my face. The man of the moment never stopped pounding into her, unaware that mum and daughter were staring at each other. It became a stupid challenge of who would blink first. Then, she gestured with a finger, ordering me to turnover and face the opposite direction. I reluctantly did.

Thereafter, future escapades were done strictly in the dark. But, it was needless because I was familiar with the routine and could tell the various stages they were at from their vocal emissions.
