Nocturne of Amestris -Duet- — Jörg Army

Originally composed by Akira Senju, from the second soundtrack of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

A few curiosities about the piece:

🔹 Senju composed the entire Brotherhood score with a conscious European sensibility — chasing a musical worldview that connects to the history and spirit of alchemy itself.

🔹 In an interview, Senju named "Nocturne of Amestris -Duet-" as one of the pieces that came to him most naturally while composing — one of a handful of themes that, in his words, simply arrived with ease.

🔹 The piece is part of the "Amestris" theme family, known for creating a warm, sheltering atmosphere — a moment of peace amid the chaos of the series.

My version takes that original warmth and brings it into a more intimate space: piano, viola, and cello in quiet dialogue, letting the silence between the notes speak as much as the melody itself. Pure nostalgia, unhurried.

Koopa's Road — From "Super Mario 64" (Orchestral Cover, Jörg Army)

Lava breaking through the dark. A path forged in fire, moving forward with no way back.
Before it was a battle, it was a road. Koopa's Road — now known as Bowser's Road — is the theme Koji Kondo composed for Super Mario 64, playing during the encounters with Bowser in Dark World, Fire Sea, and Bowser in the Sky.

A few curiosities:

🔹 The title originally used Bowser's Japanese name — a detail that went unnoticed for years, until Nintendo corrected it on the Nintendo Music app in 2024.

🔹 The entire Super Mario 64 soundtrack was composed solely by Koji Kondo — no team, no co-writers. Just him, shaping the sound of an entire generation of video games.

🔹 Kondo is also the mind behind some of gaming's most iconic scores, including The Legend of Zelda.
My version takes that melody and pours it into full orchestral territory — strings rising like molten rock, percussion cracking like the ground itself.

LA TAVERNE D’ERICK

I imagined a small French tavern where, for one night, nothing outside really matters.

Three friends around a table. One of them has become the center of attention, talking about whatever crosses his mind. Another listens with the patience of someone already planning his escape.

And the third one?

He has left the conversation entirely.

He is still sitting there.
He is just extremely drunk.

Behind the bar, Erick keeps serving them with the warmth of an old friend.

The accordion and piano carry the night — the laughter, the drinks, the conversations that seem to have no end. A little moment of joy, friendship, and forgetting about everything else.

But as the melody approaches its end, an harp appears.

The night becomes quieter. The moment starts to disappear. Everyone eventually goes home.

And that is where the nostalgia comes from: realizing that some nights are beautiful precisely because they cannot happen twice.

La Taverne D’Erick is a world-inspired instrumental about friendship, escape, and one of those nights you wish could last a little longer.

Released March 29, 2026.

THE LAW OF THE STRONGEST — Rework

A dark instrumental built around piano and strings, exploring tension, power, confrontation, hierarchy, and primal dynamics through sound.

This track has found listeners across the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, the Netherlands, and beyond. I’m grateful to everyone who has spent time with this piece.

It also made me reflect on something I often come back to as an artist: sometimes it’s not only about what you create, but who you create it for.

Soundtrack and instrumental music can reach places you never expected, and sometimes the audience for your music is simply somewhere else.

Perhaps finding that audience is part of the work itself.
