just a reminder, Milwaukee Avenue (near Elston) on Chicago’s Far NW Side will be closed to traffic for 4 days starting around 4 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, for Gladstone Park’s Throwback Music Fest & Carnival, which opens at 4 pm Friday.
Elston Ave can be used as an alternate route

UPDATE: The Higgins property, where a Trader Joe’s was once planned, is being held under 6200 Higgins LLC, whose owners reportedly operate Farmer’s Best Market stores and also have bought and sold grocery store or pharmacy sites. Farmer’s Best stores are located at 6420 W. Fullerton Ave. and 23 W. North Ave., Northlake.
