Dr. Judith Tellerman brought her rich, warm, timeless alto into the booth — Sephardic melodies, mystical themes and lyrics from the heart! Had shades of Nico from the Velvet Underground in there. Can't wait for this release.

Purab Pal came in to lay vocals over an instrumental he built at home, original music, written and produced by him.

What stood out was the blend, traditional Indian melodic sensibility running straight into modern production. Two worlds sitting in the same take like they were never separate.

He's also a cancer biology researcher by day. Different kind of precision, same attention to detail.

In the booth with multi-instrumentalist, visual artist, and tattoo artist Christian Bernal. It's cool watching his visual work bleed into his music, same surreal, genre-defying sensibility. He tracked vocals over an instrumental he built at home: tribal drum work, rubbery bass lines, dark and gritty crooning vocals. Always a good time getting to music nerd out with him over Ministry, Morphine, and the rest of that left-of-center world.

🎸 New one from The Days Away. "Only Heaven Knows" is out now.

Fifth single since January and the tracks keep coming. Jangly rhythm guitars, multi-layered solos, popin bass lines, bright synths and that dream like post punk dna running through every song. Danny wrote, played, and sang every part himself, then brought it into the booth and tracked it live.

Between the press write-ups and the shows stacking up this year, it's been a hell of a run. His sister Joanna Maymó and cousin Justin bring it to the stage with him, and they're already back in with a new drummer cutting the next two tracks.

"..."All Your Feeling,” is out today.
I wrote this song while my daughter Caroline was in the hospital. It was exactly two years ago today that she became paralyzed out of the clear blue sky by a tumor we had no idea had been growing in her spinal cord. I worked on this during random hours of the day and night that fall. Like many others, I was inspired by her spirit in the face of unimaginable circumstances—including having to celebrate her 16th birthday in a hospital room, attached to a ventilator with no ability to move.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be releasing a couple more songs about/for Caroline. The final track will come out on what would have been her 18th birthday. Even though she’s not here to hear them, I think she would like them."

There's something about hearing accordion and keys wrapped around a Neil Young song that you don't expect until it happens. Bill Rosas .rosas1 brought both to this cover of "After the Gold Rush," Rachael Wilson Rachael Wilson sang it like she meant every word, and producer Bill Green Bill Green had a unique vision for the reimagining — a dynamic, slow-building arrangement, purposeful harmonies, and in-between takes some legendary tales from his storied career as a professional live sound engineer.

"Heaven in a Wildflower" by Cynthia Mines Cynthia Mines is officially out as an audiobook — and we couldn't be more proud of the work that went into bringing this story to life.

Narrated by Cindy's longtime friend Marsha marshahoover , this coming-of-age tale set on the early 1900s Kansas prairie follows Kristin Thorsen as she searches for home, voice, and belonging against a backdrop of winter wheat and quiet resilience.

Recorded right here at Untold Stories Recordings, this one was a labor of love from start to finish. Huge congratulations to Cynthia on the release, and to Marsha for breathing life into Kristin's story chapter by chapter. 🌾
