hey y’all, spud here. 2024 was a yummy year for music and some of those delicious releases are here on this list.

sometimes when sitting on a riverbank watching the water float by, i see a leaf dancing it’s way downstream and i start mimicking its movements - joining in the great guffaw of life. hoping you’ll notice yourself in the big laugh - the celestial dance; the eternal burp.

maybe you’ll find a song here that you’ll fall in love to, fry an egg to, listen to while you take a dump, build community with, cry to, or watch a leaf float down the river and dance to. have a laugh for me, life’s absurd.

this year, i wanted to share my personal favorite albums of 2024. music is everything to me — it drives my creativity and is my main inspiration for life. if you know me, you know i’m always spinning something, always searching for new stuff to listen to, or probably at a show…haha

to break the year down into just a few records is very tough—mainly because personally this year was all about exploration. but hey, there’s bangers being released daily in this world. here are a few 2024 releases that I found on repeat ⭐️ you can find a playlist at the link in our bio !
