Sabrina LaSha (She.Unapologetic) is a multidisciplinary artist and creative brand redefining what performance looks and sounds like. A poet, vocalist, actress, and writer, she builds immersive storytelling experiences that move fluidly between stage, studio, and screen.

As She.Unapologetic, she has cultivated a bold artistic identity rooted in feminine power, emotional intelligence, and cultural awareness—already activating audiences through live performance, original remixes, curated showcases, and cross-genre collaborations.

Her work is not limited to verses or vocals; she creates narrative arcs, cinematic moments, and brand-aligned storytelling that elevates records, tours, and creative campaigns. She doesn’t simply feature—she expands the world of the artist she collaborates with.

Sabrina operates as both artist and movement builder, bringing vision, voice, and cultural momentum to every room she enters.

Market research might mean taking note of the publishing landscape, observing how certain ideas, genres, styles, etc. are being responded to by readers. Helps writers and publishers understand, anticipate, postpone, or adjust their future offerings and acquisitions.

Our works are meant to be felt by real people, living through real, nakedly hateful, and institutionally neglectful & dismissive times, affecting our overall well-being (on purpose, btw).

So sometimes, reports from orgs that measure happiness and fulfillment markers globally, though we can know it intuitively, is another way to determine creative direction, become inspired and decisive about your contribution as an author, or publisher.

Still trying to fit other reading in, while preparing our first issue. Like cleansing your palate between fragrances so they don't pile atop one another, end up getting overwhelmed.

I read Lorde's journal entries. To report in such a journalistic style in what must have been terrifying, to say the least, is alone a feat. Unfortunately, can't be surprised by our government's response to an emergency affecting darker people?

Care? Or hostility? You guess.

I hope you're reading.
I hope you're writing.

These anthologies happen to be put together by noted Black Historian Henry Louis Gates, a series often found in college bookstores.

Who would've guessed that would have similar artistic direction re: their cover? Great minds; great ether.

, who painted an original piece to grace the cover for the first issue of our journal, isn't just recognized by me as a dope artist (i own several of his works as evidence of that, lol), but he gets invited to bring his work into diverse and unconventional spaces, like a dispensary in this case, to fill it with wonder, awe, and a chance to pause in reflection.

I'm blessed to know him and grateful that we could reconnect after many years, to begin new collaborations.
