This year has been the worst. My health has taken a serious hit, and the medical bills are piling up.

I've been through a lot, from eye issues and COVID to knee surgery. Now, I find myself reaching out for help once again. It's not easy for me to ask, but I truly need your support.

This year has been the worst. My health has taken a serious hit, and the medical bills are piling up.

This year has been the worst. Last July, my pupils stopped dilating; they have been pinned small ever since. I went to 5 varying degree eye doctors and two neurologists, and still, there isn't a solution. I had multiple MRIs. In the discovery after the MRIs, there is evidence of a stroke. The final neurologist said there is no lasting damage and the percentage of recurrence is less than 1%.

Now we enter the rest of my medical issues. Two run-ins with COVID in 7 months and the norovirus, all resulting in 2 weeks of no work. Along this journey, I have used all my PTO and then some. There is no short-term disability that I qualify for. Medical bills are piling up, and I feel like I'm drowning. There have been many family emergencies along this path as well, which have shaken my reserves. Those of you who have known me a long time know I have been fighting with my knees for decades. My knees have deteriorated to bone on bone. My left knee was the worst of it, so here came surgery. (LEFT KNEE PATELLOFEMORAL REPLACEMENT) Heal time is 3 months. I am back home and taking stock of all that has transpired, and I realized I need help. I hate to reach out to the community again, but I do not see another way. We are building a better Dann.

I am sorry to have to put another cry for help.
I am looking for some work-from-home options, but so far, nothing on that front.
