🍗 Garlic Herb Chicken
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
3 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
1 tsp thyme (dried or fresh)
1 tsp rosemary (dried or fresh)
1 tbsp lemon juice
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Marinate the Chicken:
In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, herbs, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Add chicken and coat evenly. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight in the fridge).
Cook the Chicken:
Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat.
Cook chicken for 6–7 minutes per side (thighs) or 5–6 minutes per side (breasts), until golden and cooked through.
Rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
🍚 Steamed Rice
Ingredients
1 cup jasmine or basmati rice
2 cups water
½ tsp salt
Optional: 1 tsp butter or a drizzle of sesame oil
Instructions
Rinse the rice in cold water until the water runs clear.
In a pot, combine rice, water, and salt. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat and let sit, covered, for another 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork.
🥦 Steamed Vegetables
Ingredients
1 cup broccoli florets
1 cup carrot slices
½ cup snap peas or green beans
Salt, pepper, and a touch of olive oil or butter
Instructions
Bring 1–2 inches of water to a boil in a pot with a steamer basket.
Add vegetables, cover, and steam for 4–5 minutes or until just tender but still vibrant.
Toss with a pinch of salt, pepper, and optional butter or oil.
🧄 Final Assembly
Plate a serving of steamed rice.
Top or place sliced garlic herb chicken alongside.
Add steamed vegetables.
Optional: Drizzle extra pan juices from chicken over rice for added flavor.

A squeeze of lemon over the chicken and vegetables
Chili flakes or sriracha for heat
Fresh herbs (parsley or basil) for garnish
