ATU 241 Members. On Dec 16th, the Run Off Election will take place at all garages and at Pace West, Pace Southwest, and Pace NorthShore. Voting Hours are from 7am-8pm. We urge you to vote and Punch #6 for Nicole Williams For Financial Recording Secretary Treasurer of ATU 241, Punch #3 for Cynthia Bradley for 2nd Vice President, and Punch #13 for Eric Henry for Instructors/Supervisor Executive Board to move our Union in the right direction.

The greatest news of the New Year. Mr 33% Dorval Ronald Carter is Retiring from the CTA to start a new job at Chicago St Anthony Hospital. Good Riddance !!!

Carter’s resignation comes as a debate brews in Springfield about whether to combine the CTA with Metra, Pace and the Regional Transportation Authority.

Once again our Union Misleadership has sold us out with this Tentative Agreement they have reached with the CTA. On Jan. 7th VOTE NO !!!🙃

CTA Employees apart of ATU Locals 241 & 308, after NO information or updates about the contract that expired on 12/31/23 after 6 months they have magically come up with an "wage increase" of 4% and to extend the contract to 12/31/24. They are "still negotiating the new contract". We urge you to VOTE NO on June 24th to this Insult. Send the union back to the negotiation table and bring back a real raise like Dorval Carter's 33% instant raise.

Well well well, it seems like Some Amalgamated Transit Union Local 241 Laborer Members have woke up and actually want to do something about the ineffectiveness of these so called Union Leaders by Decertification. I don't know why it's taken this long. Even though we are in "contract negotiations", More Departments need to do the same to hold them accountable.
