This isn't a pan-African photo op: summits in Accra with African and Caribbean nations elevating reparations on the world stage may make for striking optics, but appearances don't owe restitution and staged pictures don't cut checks. Black American descendants of the enslaved have a direct, documented claim against the U.S. government. Every minute spent pursuing a broader global gesture is a minute taken from the concrete fight for actual payment.

Quiet about failing schools: Black children remain stuck in rundown, underfunded classrooms while CBC members send their own kids to elite academies. They march for the cameras but won't challenge the education bureaucracy failing our communities. Performative outrage, no real courage. If you won't fight for the classroom, don't ask for the vote.

You can't just rewrite the receipt: calling slavery "the gravest crime in human history" sounds powerful until you consider who's saying it—a country whose own coastlines profited from selling people to traders. Genuine reparatory justice begins with reckoning, not a headline. Until Ghana confronts its own role in the trade, its reparations talk isn't solidarity; it's spin, trying to alter a bill Black America is still owed. . Check me out:

So‑called criminal justice "reform" that accomplished nothing. Mass incarceration surged on their watch. The CBC had chair seats, subpoena power, and majorities — and still let the system destroy Black men by the millions. Now they expect praise for tinkering at the margins. It’s far too little, and decades too late. Accountability isn’t optional just because you share the victims’ skin color. . Check me out:

The Same Coast, The Same Chains. Before there was a Ghanaian flag, there was the Gold Coast — where Ashanti and Fante elites captured, marched, and sold our ancestors to European ships for guns, cloth, and gold. That history doesn't disqualify Ghana from healing. It does, however, disqualify Ghana from taking the podium as an innocent bystander and from asking for a seat at the table in conversations about debts it helped create.

Wealth gap? What wealth gap? More than fifty CBC members and no serious bills to shrink the racial wealth divide. They’ll post indignant tweets, then vote for budgets that starve schools in Black neighborhoods. This isn’t representation — it’s performance. Black families need fighters, not committee-fillers who let donors write the agenda. . Check me out:

•Black America pushes for federal reparations. That timing isn’t accidental — it serves to dilute our demand. Our claim is specific: the U.S. government owes a debt to the descendants of the enslaved whose labor built this country's wealth. Framing it as vague “global reparatory justice” lets Washington off the hook. Stay focused — this fight is ours to win, not Accra’s.

Hollow suits, hollow promises. The Congressional Black Caucus has held influence for decades, yet Black America still trails in wealth, health, and housing. They cash checks from corporate PACs while your neighborhood falls apart. Enough with the staged photo-ops and ceremonial Kente cloth.

No Agenda, No Vote
Every other group gets a tangible agenda, and we get symbolism and speeches. Black politicians play along because demanding nothing is safe. No more blind loyalty. No more fear-based voting. If they want our vote, they must deliver a Black agenda with benchmarks. No playbook, no vote. . Check me out:

Career Over Community
The congressional Black Caucus is focused on reelection, not genuine liberation. They won't risk a committee seat or a corporate endorsement to push for reparations, economic protections, or targeted policy. They'd rather be liked in Washington than respected at home. We need fighters, not careerists.
