🎄 "Na September, But My Mind Is Already in December!"
"It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas..." wait, hold up! 🛑 Is it just me, or is the Christmas spirit already invading store aisles in September?! 🛒👀
Yesterday, I walked into the store just to pick up a few things, and BAM, tinsel, twinkling lights, and holiday decor everywhere! My heart rate immediately increased by 200%. 💃 I had to quickly tell myself, "Calm down, do not look too closely!" because if I start buying Christmas decor now, my house will look like Santa’s workshop before October even arrives! 😂
Who am I kidding, though? Abi you know how we do it! I’m definitely going back to "just buy one or two things" (and end up leaving with half the aisle).
There’s just something magical about this season, the warmth, the gratitude, the sheer joy in the air, and how it brings us all closer to love and togetherness. Thanksgiving gets the appetite warmed up, but Christmas? Christmas just takes the whole cake! 🎂
Whether it's Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, Labor Day, or our rich cultural celebrations like Iri Ji (New Yam Festival) and Iwa Akwa, holidays remind us that no matter how busy life gets, joy is a spiritual necessity. 🌾
So, over to you, my people!
👇 Quick Question:
What is that ONE holiday that makes your heart sing?
Are you a Christmas lover like me, or are you for Iri Ji / Thanksgiving food etc?
Drop your favorite holiday in the comments, and tell me: How early is too early to start buying Christmas decorations? 👇🤣
