Have you checked out my new stash tracking app called “Yarn Store” yet? It’s in the App Store for iOS and iPadOS now! I started this app last year to make an easy to use stash tracking tool that would encourage me to be better about knitting from my stash. I’m so pleased with how it turned out and I can’t wait to introduce new features in the future! It is only on Apple platforms (and likely will remain that way) because I am a professional iOS developer and this was a side project in my free time. If you check it out, I’d love to hear what you think!

Finally taking down the Christmas decorations and I gathered all my handmade ornaments together to store them separately since so many are made with wool. I love all these ornaments… one day I want enough to decorate the tree entirely in handmade ornaments!

I cast on my second Field Shawl by using the Tweedy in “Soot” by and I’m in love with it so far! I’m using a combo of yarns from (a fi*****ng weight wool with a strand of mohair) for my contrast color. This is such a relaxing knit!

After I finished these Scattered Purl socks by .lee.knits I had to make a matching Tiny Tree Sock (also designed by Summer). These socks were knit with yarn from ! I recently finished another pair of socks by .lee.knits with another matching tiny sock… I’ll post those in the coming days! Hope you’re staying warm and safe wherever you are! Happy holidays!

I have been working on nothing but socks lately… These are Scattered Purl socks from `The Hello Sailor Sock Set` by the always amazing .lee.knits. I knit them entirely in yarn from … the bright green is from the Check Knit Out collaboration that they did with (so glad I picked up a set from that collaboration!) and the darker green is from the mini skein set that was released as part of their Soul Train collection. What are you working on right now?

I was inspired photos posted a while back of their Crosshatch brioche wrap. This simple brioche wrap (designed by ) is a really relaxing project… relaxing and simple is exactly what I’ve needed from my knitting lately, if I’m being honest! I’m knitting this in Tones (in the Baseline Overtone color) and Loft (in the Caraway color). I restarted this a couple times because I was having issues with the edges of the scarf not looking clean, so I decided to go off-pattern and just do a slip stitch edge. It’s working out nicely, I think! What’s on your needles this weekend?

I made this Winter Suns Shawl as a shop sample for … it took me far longer to knit than I would have liked, but it was mostly just down to a lack of motivation. The project turned out beautifully and my “mojo” is back! Haha. This shawl was designed by and uses mosaic knitting to achieve the interesting colorwork. I knit this with Patagonia for the main color and various shades of (Loft held double or Shelter) for the contrasts. This sample is at Knit 1 and it feels so luxurious!

I have a full stack of All Ways Hats now after finishing this green one (you can see a hint of the purple on the reverse side if you look at the brim). These four hats have provided me with so much mindful knitting lately and I already have yarn for another (those two brownish skeins on the left 😍). I’ve had so much fun participating in the while making these hats too!

I finished yet another All Ways Hat by in Peerie from . This is going to be gifted to my friend’s kid to help them make it through their first Chicago winter! This reversible stockinette hat pattern has provided me with so much relaxing knitting as I’ve worked through multiple versions. I’m almost don’t with my FOURTH for the !

I finished my second All Ways Hat by (this time in Peerie), and I’m already planning on doing another in a child’s size. Apparently, I’ve been really in need of some mindful stockinette knitting lately! What are you working on this weekend?
