Not everyone in America is rich.
Not every resident here has “instant money.”
And it’s definitely not true that life becomes easy just because you’re in the USA.

The truth?

In America, everyone works.
Whether you’re a resident or a citizen, married or single—
nothing is free, there are no shortcuts, and there is no instant comfort.

You wake up early, go to work even when you’re tired,
come home late, and the next day you do it all over again.
Sometimes you work two jobs just to pay rent, bills, insurance, food,
and still send support to your family back in the Philippines.

Many people don’t realize that while salaries may be higher here,
the cost of living is even higher.
If you don’t move, if you don’t hustle, you gain nothing.

Is it exhausting? Yes.
Is it lonely and homesick at times? Absolutely.
But you keep going.

Because you know every drop of sweat has a purpose.
The lifestyle may not be glamorous,
but the hard work is honest.
Life may not always be happy,
but the dream has direction.

To all my fellow Filipinos in America who stay quiet but keep fighting—
those who don’t post luxury,
but show up to work every single day—
I salute you.

Life here is not easy,
but we chose hard work over giving up.
We chose effort over depending on others.

And one day, we’ll proudly say:
“There is no instant money in America, but there is hope for a better future.” 🇺🇸💪
