I’m pretty sure nobody will be annoyed if I post multiple times about .cremerie, because, well, look at this place😍

We’ll call this post my “aesthetic appreciation post.” Stay tuned for my “chocolate cake appreciation post”😂

Though I myself am not the most aesthetic lady, I certainly appreciate the perfect aesthetic when I see it. And Café Crèmerie is PERFECT, from its spot on the cutest block of State Street in River North to the most gorgeous interior, front to back✨

Friends, I have to share a very important discovery!👩‍🔬

In my careful research study (of exactly one test subject), I have determined that a rainbow bagel from reduces stress and increases happiness!

In fact, eating this bagel will allow you to finish your work day more easily and without the urge to send passive aggressive emails🫣🙌

Science, people!! Are you surprised by this breakthrough?😜

I GLITTERALLY CANNOT

This cocktail and I are on the same page. Its name is my whole mood🫠

But if anything can make a long week more tolerable, it’s a glitter cocktail and the rest of this spread at ! Between the burger🍔, the lobster roll🦞, and the fish tacos🌮, it was impossible not to leave in a good food mood. Plus the coastal vacation vibes here are real⚓️

Random post alert - 10 happy pics from the first half of March✨

I don’t know about you, but this month has felt really BLAH to me so far. Hopefully we’ll at least have more sunshine by the end of it…? I’m just ready for summer already!

I was looking through recent pics as a reminder that just about every day has a silver lining, even if it’s something really small. Here are 10 of those little silver linings from March so far! (they heavily feature Frankie lol)

TGIFFF (FISH FRY FRIDAY🐡)!

Friends, if you're willing to make the trek up to Rogers Park, I'm telling you - is worth it. I could not be happier that this cozy pub with delicious bar food and super friendly service is just a short walk away from me!

Especially if you're looking for some great fish this time of year, you NEED this delicious Fish & Chip Sammie in your life. It's like a Filet-O-Fish but 100x times better (which I say as someone who loves a Filet-O-Fish lol). And make sure you start with the fried pickles, because these spears are incredible!!

I was also introduced to Shanky's Whip here when I asked for a bartender's choice shot. This Black Irish Whiskey Liqueur is SO good, I'm now the proud owner of my own bottle. It's so creamy and just the right amount of sweet.

I love a great neighborhood spot and everything about R Public House is perfection. Expect to see me here a lot, because it's definitely my new RP go-to!

I’d argue there’s no limit, because I could be perfectly happy eating nothing but this pasta for the rest of my life🤤

I love supporting small businesses, I love Chicago, and I love candles, so I’m really excited to share more about !🤗

These Chicago-made, all natural candles are made with 🥥coconut wax, which burns cleaner and longer than paraffin or soy. And I love that each candle is custom poured with care — you get to pick the container, fragrance, and type of wick!

As a lover of all things Chicago, I’m especially obsessed with the Parks Collection. Not only is each candle inspired by a beloved Chicago park, a portion of each sale goes to the Chicago Parks Foundation💚

My favorite is the Millennium Park, which smells like champagne, peonies, and amber.

Jackson Park boasts a combination of magnolia, cherry blossom, and tonka bean, while Promontory Point smells like citrus, sea salt, and powder.

Wagyu Pigs in a Blanket: Yes or No?

It’s a HECK yes for me🙌

And honestly, is it the weekend again yet? Because I’m about ready for more of these brunch cocktails😂 Coffee lovers, the Irish coffee and espresso martini are both fantastic!

I also love that Luxbar has an all day menu so you’re not locked into brunch if you go during that time. We went later in the day, so it kinda felt like egg o’clock was over lol. In addition to the Pigs, we started with the Warm Pretzels — love that they come with Merkts cheese🥹

And then, of course, the burger. It looks wonky because we split it, and they divided it in half ahead of time. I love when they do that because it’s convenient for eating, but it’s not as convenient for a photo, ha. I enjoyed the burger a lot, but it was a *little* too loaded with toppings… the bun was kinda soft by the end. Not tragic, just my one piece of constructive criticism.

Overall this was a great meal. And the place was hopping on Sunday, so make sure you grab a reservation!

Happy stormy Mondayyyy… and back to regularly scheduled programming over here!📺 Starting up again with the first meal I had back in Chicago this weekend🤗

Since I’m still in a seafood state of mind, I decided to treat myself to one of my favorite sushi spots - . I LOVE the Gold Coast location for its cozy atmosphere, lychee cocktails, and incredibly fresh fish🍣

I learned about this place thanks to a good friend who I basically consider a sushi connoisseur, so I ordered all of her go-to’s. Hello, sushi heaven💕

Here’s what you see:
• KANI NIGIRI - spicy baked king crab served nigiri style
• SUMMER ROLL - Yellowtail, avocado, cilantro, oshinko roll topped with snapper, scallions and chili oil
• NIGIRI TRIO - fatty tuna topped with fresh wasabi scallion, house soy marinated salmon, fresh salmon with soy garlic and onion
• MOCHI - chocolate, vanilla, and green tea (they also have mango and coffee)
• Multiple lychee martinis🍸😂🙌

Everything was incredible as I knew it would be🔥

This is such an awesome spot for a date, small group, or solo dining experience. I was solo this time and sat at the sushi bar, and it was the perfect “treat yourself” dinner.

While traveling, I remembered how much I enjoy a solo night out — I hope to do it more often at home, and this was the perfect place to start. If you have any spots you really enjoy solo, let me know!

I’d really love to go back when the sun is fully shining and it’s warm enough to not wear a sweater, but hey, at least the eats were great!

For now, happy to be back in Chicago and back to a more normal schedule🤗

Hi friends! I’m about halfway through my trip so I figured I’d post some pics as a sign of life on my page lol

I’m out here for work and the weather is in the 50s/60s, so I’m not going to call this a dream vacation, but I’m definitely trying to fit in some good food and beach time🌴🙌

Fun fact: I’m currently staying at (second pic), a gorgeous Victorian beach resort built in 1888. It has some really cool history: Multiple movies have been filmed here (including Some Like it Hot with Marilyn Monroe), and a long list of celebrities/important people have stayed here.

I also just learned that it’s haunted👻 so wish me luck… lol

Happy Galentine's Day, starring !💕

You probably remember me raving about these cute lil cocktails not too long ago. Well I'm back to rave some more, because they were a hit at my Galentine's gathering this weekend! No joke, the rest of the liquor remained untouched because these cocktails were just so easy and good. I put them out in a bowl of ice and honestly can't imagine a simpler cocktail display. These were also the perfect addition to my Galentine goody bags!🛍️

The cosmos were the star of the show this time since they fit the color scheme, but don't forget that Post Meridiem has EIGHT different cocktails you can choose from!
