I never thought I'd be sharing something so raw, so deeply personal, but I can't keep this to myself anymore. After David passed, I thought I was just grieving, moving through the motions of clearing out his family mansion. It was supposed to be a bittersweet journey through our shared past.
But then I found it. A hidden room. And inside, a secret so devastating, so utterly unthinkable, that it's shattered every single memory I have of him, of us. The man I loved, the man I married, the man I mourned... he was living an entire other life. An entire other family. My entire existence was built on a foundation of lies. I don't even know who I am anymore. Every single word, every touch, every promise feels like a sick joke now.
My heart is aching in ways I didn't know were possible. I feel lost, betrayed, and like a complete fool.
What would you do if you discovered your entire married life was a lie?
