While riding their ATV down a dusty Kentucky backroad, Natalea and Dalton noticed a few tiny tails chasing them in their rearview mirror—three little puppies pushing through the dust.

When they pulled over, four more came running out from the brush.

Seven starving, bone-thin puppies were living right by the train tracks, desperate for a helping hand.

The moment they saw the ATV, they did the only thing they knew how to do: run as fast as their little legs could carry them and beg for help.

Natalea and Dalton didn’t hesitate. They scooped up every single one, gained their trust, and gave them a ride home.

“They all just collapsed on the floorboards, completely exhausted,” they recalled. “One even climbed right onto my lap and refused to leave.”

At around 8 to 9 weeks old, these sweet babies are pure love—playful, cuddly, and ridiculously affectionate.

For now, they’ll be staying with Natalea and Dalton, getting healthy, safe, and spoiled until they find their forever homes.

Who knows how long they survived out by those train tracks?

But one thing is for sure: they picked the right humans to chase down that day.

And that little sprint changed their lives forever.

Mason, the Dog Who Never Lost His Purpose

For 12 years, one of Mason’s greatest joys was bringing in the newspaper every morning.

Mason is a Golden Retriever who belongs to Brynn Fussell. Every morning before breakfast, rain or shine, Mason would head outside to find the newspaper waiting on the grass. Bringing it back home was his favorite little job.

But as Mason grew older, things began to change.

Brynn noticed that he was becoming hesitant when walking, bumping into furniture, and sometimes seeming confused. After a veterinary examination, Mason was diagnosed with glaucoma—a painful condition that was damaging his vision.

To relieve his pain, Mason needed surgery to remove both of his eyes.

Brynn knew it was the best decision for him. But she couldn't help wondering…

Would Mason still be able to enjoy the routine he loved so much without his sight?

After recovering from surgery, Brynn opened the door with a worried heart. She had no idea whether Mason would remember how to find the newspaper.

Then Mason walked outside.

Relying only on his incredible sense of smell, he followed the familiar scent across the grass until he found the exact spot where the newspaper was usually left.

He picked it up, lifted his head, and walked back to Brynn—with the same excitement he had shown when he was a puppy.

Mason may have lost his sight, but he never let darkness take away the little purpose that made him happy.

Sometimes, you don't need to see where you're going to know exactly where you belong.
