: Flashback to the Pace Setters era!

I remember how Pacesetters and The Moses Series books ruled the shelves—"The Smugglers," "Evbu My Love," "The Undesirable Element"—pure gold! 😍
Back then, the only way I knew a new one was out was by rushing to the school library during break time. If you were late, someone else had already borrowed it, and you'd have to beg or bribe with a snack just to get next in line! 😂

Nowadays, how do YOU discover new books to read? 👇

A. Recommendations from friends/family

B. Book reviews on websites or social media

C. Bestseller lists

D. Book clubs or online communities

Hilda Bih Muluh, the author of one of our latest books, The Girl with Special Shoes, shares the misdiagnosis and pain she went through when her parents sought healing from a medicine man. From accusations of being and old witch inhabiting a child's body, to scarring in a bid to heal her. Muscular Dystrophy was a disease unknown to her parents and less known in Cameroon. When she got to school, she faced ridicule but God gave her strength and her family gave her unwavering support. This helped her persevere to become a national broadcaster.

Get yourself a copy of this book and learn about God's grace and triumph over adversity. It will give you hope, no matter how dark your trials.

"Chapter by chapter the crescendo builds of heart-wrenching stories of sexual assault against vulnerable children who are supposed to belong to the kingdom of heaven but are trapped in the dungeons of predators and wolves dressed in sheep’s clothing. This book is a must read for everyone who cares about Jesus and his love for children."—Rev Dr John Teke, Senior Pastor, Deputy Chairman of the National Ministers Fellowship of the Cameroon Baptist Convention.

"Safe" is a book that will equip leaders to create a protective “umbrella” of policies that can shield children from the storm of sexual danger in society and in the church. Learn more about this book here: https://oasisinternationalpublishing.com/book/safe/

The Lari of the Republic of Congo have a proverb that translates to mean, "The value of a person is not bought; it is by merit, labour, and intelligence." Thus the Congolese traditional communities worked very hard and determined the value of a person by his hard work.

For Israel to continuously experience God's blessings, they had to keep his laws. While good works will not bring us salvation, they are a natural display of God's presence in our lives. Faith without works is dead(James 2:26).

Check out this five star review of our book 'The Girl with Special Shoes' by Hilda Bih Muluh by an Amazon customer:

"I can’t recommend this memoir enough. Very personal and raw, it relates the many uncertainties and challenges the author has had to overcome as a woman affected by disability growing up in Cameroon. Against all odds she overcame each obstacle, trusting in God and following him even when the path seemed impossible."—Christa

"Many people in Africa see Christianity as a 'white man’s religion,' and they do so primarily because people from Western Europe or North America brought the gospel message to their country most recently. While it is understandable to so categorize Christianity for that reason, we need to understand that in many countries around the world, Christianity was first introduced by other sources. " –Tim Welch, author of "Africans and Africa in the Bible."
