SPJ/ONA DePaul Chapter SPJ/ONA DePaul is a student organization with membership in the Society of Professional Journalists

SPJ DePaul was founded in January 2010 by Mike Reilley and reorganized as SPJ/ONA DePaul in November 2013 to include membership in the Online News Association. SPJ/ONA DePaul is a student organization with membership in the Society of Professional Journalists, the nation’s largest journalism organization, and the Online News Association. SPJ/ONA DePaul is part of the university’s College of Commun

ication. Our organization supports the First Amendment, the free flow of information and open government records. We provide student journalists opportunities and education in the field of journalism on current issues and trends in the industry. The chapter grew to 62 student members by February of the 2013-14 academic year.
