This weekend, ChitownCrimechasers-CCC wasn’t actually about crime, but about using our youth to serve our communities 🤞🏾❤️

We teamed up with our partners from Community Intelligence Unit - CIU and took the group all across the city to do community snow shoveling ❄️

Th entire weekend we serviced neighborhoods from the West Side to the South Side, and even serviced the South Suburbs.

This experience showed the youth a different and more positive way of hustle, instead of them having to rob ppl, steal cars, or in the streets & gangs, they learned how to make money the right way 💯 Instead of them picking up a gun, they picked up a shovel, instead of them wearing ski-masks to have a negative YN image, they wore it for the right reason.

Not only they hustled and worked hard, but they had fun and enjoyed it, as you can tell by the smiles and laughters on their faces.

We as the community have to learn how to stop judging and pushing away our kids, but instead be a helping hand, a vessel, and a light for them. Sometimes that’s all they need is that extra push from someone they can look up too. It really does takes a village.

We want to thank and appreciate all those whose donated towards the cause, those who reached out to receive our service, including hundreds who inboxed us and we couldn’t even get to on time.

If anyone would like to donate items such as clothing, boots, gloves, hats, winter items, shovels, salt, snow blowers, etc. Please inbox us and we will coordinate from there.

Yesterday was a success! 🤞🏾 We took the youth all across the city to shovel snow. We serviced communities such as West Garfield Park, Humboldt Park, South Austin, Belmont Craigin, Auburn Gresham, Chatham, & South Shore.

BUT WE NOT DONE YET!!!! This morning we’re going back at it again, this time the South Suburbs and throughout the South side.

Our youth wants to be apart of something positive and a change. Our goal is to show them that there’s other positive ways to hustle and make money instead of robbing ppl and stealing cars. They have so much potential, talents, & great skills in them, and they only need help to bring that out of them 💯 ITS GONE TAKE US TO SAVE US!!!
