Glassing is one of my favorite things about hunting. There’s something about sitting down behind a tripod, having absolutely nothing on your mind other than trying to pick apart some country. I could do it for hours on end and I’m sure some wouldn’t understand why. Is that a hot take or are y’all with me?

This spotter/tripod set up was killer for our spring bear hunt! The Razor 13-39x56 is a killer optic! The weight is next to nothing and there’s no compromises with the glass! Couple that with a wildcat, an nexus and snapshot system and you have a complete lightweight glassing set up!

Spring is such a fun time to be out in the mountains! I wish I did more of it. Not sure if it’s just the first hunt of the year or what but spring bear is one of my favorite hunts of the year!

On most hunts now, I usually carry a handgun. I’m constantly trying new ways to carry it and this holster from has been a solid choice. It’s solid on the pack and the gun is solid in the holster.
