Thanks to The Big Beautiful Bill, ICE is being backed by 75 billion dollars!
Their marketing for the hiring of more than 10,000 new "agents" has been relentless. Using lots of Christian, White Nationalist imagery, videos and memes more similar to that of the Gestapo, instead of a civilian law enforcement agency.
ICE boasted about the number of people applying! Being flooded with over 175k applications to join ICE and DHS, the agency took some workers from FEMA to help with H.R.
With offerings of a $50,000 bonus, healthcare, retirement options and a chance to be around fellow racist, facist, POS bottom of the barrel dudes. I do not doubt that so many have applied.
No badges, no names, no faces. Just some dudes standing up to inflatables, tackling the roofers and landscapers at the Home Depot lot. Asking the brown colored folks where they were born.
Best believe that it's not America's fittest and brightest that applied.
With all that being said, please stay safe when dealing with ICE. When any agency has a surge in new employees, standard fall, training is minimal, you end up with some very unethical, inexperienced officers.
Similar to what happened after 9/11, federal agencies that integrated into the newly formed DHS saw a surge in misconducts, criminal behavior and corruption that were fueled by the rapid expansion of new hires.
