A NEW DECLARATION: FOR EQUITY, DIGNITY, AND ACCOUNTABILITY
We the People of the Present-Day United States
We, the people of the United States, declare that the systems meant to protect and represent us are failing too many. From inequality in wages and housing to racial injustice, political corruption, and healthcare access, our democracy must evolve — now.
This is our declaration — a call for structural transformation in the name of justice, dignity, and accountability for all.
Our 11 Demands
1. Abolish the Electoral College
One person, one vote — no exceptions. Marginalized communities, especially Black Americans, must be fully recognized as equal under the Constitution.
2. Guarantee Livable Wages for All
Every American should earn enough to cover basic needs without struggling or working multiple jobs.
3. Cap Wealth and Enforce Humane Working Conditions
No individual or corporation should hoard billions while others suffer. Capitalism must be kept in check. Workers deserve safety, dignity, and fairness.
4. Cap Rent and Mortgage Costs
Housing is a human right. Implement rent and mortgage caps to prevent exploitation and displacement.
5. End the School-to-Prison Pipeline
Stop criminalizing Black students and underserved communities.
• Pay teachers more as student achievement improves
• Fund classrooms and make them places teachers want to teach in
• Provide free tutoring access for students who need it
6. Ensure School Safety
Enforce a minimum 10-year prison sentence for any credible threat made against a school.
7. Healthcare for Every U.S. Citizen
Healthcare is a human right — not a product. Guarantee universal, affordable, accessible healthcare for all.
8. No Pay for Government Officials During Shutdowns
If the federal government shuts down, the President, Congress, and federal judges should not be paid — just like the workers they furlough.
9. Stronger Qualifications for the Presidency
• No felons
• At least 35 years old
• Must be a first-generation U.S. citizen
• Must have served at least one full political term in office
10. Term Limits for All Political Offices
No more lifelong politicians. Enact term limits for every elected office, from local councils to Congress.
11. Immediate Removal for Proven Election Fraud
If a president is proven to have fraudulently won an election:
• Option A: They shall be denied bail, escorted from the White House, and barred from reentry.
• Option B: Upon judicial confirmation, they shall be constitutionally removed and criminally prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
