North Avenue Magazine is a monthly review of art and politics from the perspective of Chicago’s North Side, and especially along North Avenue from Old Town to Wicker Park, the stomping grounds of Nelsen Algren, Studs Terkel and Mike Royko. We will cover new works of art, look back at the city’s history, and attempt to bring the spirit of democracy that started in Tunisia and Egypt to our own City Hall.
