Hey, Chicago.
The wait is over. The Obama Presidential Center is now officially open on Chicago’s South Side.

The new 19.3-acre campus in Jackson Park is more than just a museum. Visitors can explore gardens, community spaces, Home Court, a playground, the new Chicago Public Library branch, and the Sky Room, which offers incredible views of Lake Michigan and is free to visit.

Make sure you stop by Tafari’s Kitchen, where you can try the Obama family’s famous chili recipe!

The museum is the only ticketed experience on campus and features interactive exhibits, President Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize, iconic outfits worn by First Lady Michelle Obama, a replica of the Oval Office, and a closer look at the Obama family’s journey and legacy.

Whether you’re interested in history, architecture, or simply exploring a new Chicago landmark, there’s plenty to discover here.

Hello Kitty Cafe has announced its Chicago opening date.

The highly anticipated cafe will officially open June 26 at 360 N. Michigan Ave., marking the brand’s first Midwest location.
The 8,000-square-foot, two-level space features indoor seating, a Riverwalk patio with skyline views, Chicago-exclusive menu items, a Bow Room Afternoon Tea experience, exclusive merchandise, photo moments, and more.

A grand opening celebration will take place June 26–28 starting at 10 a.m. daily, with special promotions planned throughout the weekend!
