Working on the film score with

Heather is one of the first people I approached about the film. I wanted someone I could work in depth with to make sure the music for the film was as best as we could make it and whom I could communicate the vision for it with. She's incredibly skilled and patient with me.

It's getting closer to our fundraising date, so you'll be seeing more active posts and tidbits.

Next weekend, Writer/Director Hanan Malas will be heading to the Arab Film Festival with Assistant Director Mohammed Diab, at the Arab American National Museum to check it out and meet with other Arab American Filmmakers.

I know it's been a while since I've updated, that's been for a few reasons

But here's the progress for those that haven't personally reached out for updates:

1. We have picture lock. We've been at it for about a month now.
2. It's currently going through the color correction, and special effects etc (especially for the Day For Night walk scene that has to go through a bit)
3. The music scorer is starting on the music
4. Things are being scheduled with the audio effects person (our Foley person) who will also be helping to sync the audio
5. Hopefully (going to plan) we should have a trailer out by the end of the month. And soon after the trailer goes up the crowdfunding campaign.
