Hey Chicago! Join us for a special urban wildlife photo walk at the Montrose Bird Sanctuary with guest photographer Dustin Weidner .wildlife.photography

Dustin has been featured by CBS, WGN, FOX Chicago, Block Club Chicago, Living Bird Magazine, and Chicago Birder, and will share insights into photographing wildlife in an urban environment.

📍 Meet: Beach showers just east of The Dock at Montrose Beach

🕙 Photo Walk: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

🍻 Afterwards: Join us at The Dock from 12:00–2:00 PM for food, drinks, and conversation.

Whether you're shooting birds, people, or the beauty of the sanctuary all experience levels are welcome. If you have a telephoto or zoom lens it's time to dust it off. That said any camera combo will do.

📸🍻 Beers & Cameras Chicago – First Friday

It's the First Friday of June, which means we're back at Sterling Food Hall.

Come hang out, grab a drink, talk shop, show off what you've been shooting lately, or just meet some other camera fiends.

Want to keep the evening going? We'll do an optional photo walk at 7 PM for anyone who wants to get out and make some photos.

As always, all experience levels are welcome. Whether it's your first meetup or your fiftieth, we'd love to see you there.

On Thursday, May 28th, we’ll be exploring one of Chicago’s most vibrant neighborhoods alongside our friends from Ferrara and Evoke Pride for an evening of photography, community, pizza, and more!

We’ll meet at Center on Halsted (3656 N Halsted St) from 5–6pm to hang out, connect, and hear a little about the center and the work they do in the community before heading out for a casual photo walk through the neighborhood.

We’ll end the evening at Big Gay Sal’s around 7pm for pizza, beer, and hanging out.

It's spring baby! Get out your weather sealed kit.

Join us for our First Friday meetup this April 3rd (tomorrow!) at Sterling Food Hall. We’ll kick things off with a hang at the hall, food and beverages, before heading out for a walk around the city. Dress for the weather and don't bring any equipment that might disintegrate in the rain.
