Angel Tree was Celestial Ministries first program! In 1990 when Co-founder Stanley Ratliff was Incarcerated get signed his children up to receive gifts for the holidays on his behalf though Angel Tree Program. When he was released from prison he and his wife (co-founder) .antoinette decided to serve other families impacted by the incarceration system - so they began hosting Angel Tree in 1993 in Chicago’s North Lawndale community! Through Celestial Ministries Association (CMA)] Angel Tree continues to serve families throughout the entire City of Chicago and North Lawndale community! We have served more than 16,000 children and counting since hosting Angel Tree! Today Celestial Ministries Celestial Ministries Association (CMA)] continues to though a number of programs including; Celestial Mobile Outreach- a program where we drive families to visit their incarcerated family member, Drumline - our Drumline continues to perform at parades, fundraisers, and other events, Music Program - teaching youth music theory, How to read and right music , and - Celestial’s recording studio where we facilitate workshops on Audio Engineering, Music Production, and more!
