The basement in our new house will be our new streaming / music production studio. I really love the wood panels as a backdrop. Who knows. We might use a green screen too. Hope to have it all setup during October. All the furniture in the pic are gone. They belong to the sellers.

Unpopular Opinion: What I don't like as a streaming DJ is "engagement." Call me old school. During IRL gigs, DJs focus on their sets. They don't constantly talk over the music or chat with others. Socializing with people usually comes before or after the set.

Maybe it's a skill issue for me. Typing in the chat or talking on the mic is a major distraction though. You know it's live when I forget to cue up the next track on the fly.

Certain DJs / music streamers do way too much "engagement." FYI, a "Just Chatting" category does exist. They allow music in the background too. But they can do whatever. I personally don't care.
