Elon Musk is secretly living in $12million waterfront estate in Austin despite claiming to live in $50,000 box at SpaceX site after selling off his properties. Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, famously declared last year that he would 'own no house' and went on to sell off his nine California mansions for a total of $144 million. Musk has been secretly staying in billionaire Ken Howery's Austin mansion. The lavish 8,000-square-foot mansion sits on the Colorado River in a gated neighborhood, and boasts waterfront pool, whirlpool bath and private boat slip. Photos in comment. Howery denies it and says Musk only stays there occasionally while visiting. Tesla CEO sold all his houses and purportedly lives in rented modular home.
