“100 Dayys knows how to make a rock song really rock. The session had over 100 finely-crafted tracks when we went to mix, but we put it on 16 faders and didn’t stop pushing them until it felt like it was ripping our heads off as much as it could. When you listen to the tune, you can hear how every one of those tracks fit together to create a musical journey that straddles loud-as-hell amp worship and thoughtful songwriting. Our Yamaha C7 was Little Richard's touring piano and we've enjoyed recording great pianists like Tigran Hamasyan, Richard Gibbs and Chucho Valdes since we've had it. It sounds great and has a very forgiving feel. Like all C7's it is a little bright and articulate and we record it in different parts of Studio A to give it a warmer and more balanced sound depending on what our client is looking for.
