WBBM Newsradio's coverage of a press conference we organized on May 18 for 13 minority-owned licensed cannabis transportation companies that are suing Illinois for not enforcing laws prohibiting the illegal transport of adult-use cannabis products. The failure to enforce the illegal transport of cannabis (a crime committed largely by big cannabis companies) harms these minority business owners who have done things the right way.

When Illinois legalized recreational use of ma*****na, it also created rules for who could bring those products to dispensaries. On Thursday, some minority-owned transporters sued the state over its inability to stop illegal operators.
