When you sit with warriors, the conversation is different...
When you have seen war and its consequences, life as you know it, see it, experience it - changes forever. When you lead warfighters into an uncertain future, it changes you as a person; it certainly changes you as a leader. Our founder and host Joe Musselman has sat with thousands of warriors at this point, and this is what he feels from them each time. Their leadership lessons can be uniquely translated into the journey each founder experiences along their path.
William McRaven sat face to face with Saddam Hussein; he commanded the rescue of and the capture and killing of Osama Bin Laden. As the commander of U.S. Special Operations Command, he led a force of 70,000 men and women and was responsible for conducting counter-terrorism operations worldwide. He has a rare life experience we hope to share meaningfully with our audience.
