Taking On a MASSIVE 6 LB Colombian Food Challenge in Valencia, Spain!

This 6 lb Bandeja Paisa Challenge at La Chevere Gastrobar in Valencia, Spain throws every classic Colombian ingredient onto one plate: slow-cooked red beans, a mountain of white rice, traditional arepas, seasoned ground beef, Colombian chorizo, fried plantains, avocado, crispy chicharrón, and a fried egg on top. You've got 40 minutes to finish it all for the win, the free shirt, and a spot on the wall of fame.

Battling Madrid's BIGGEST Seafood Paella Challenge for Charity!

This seafood paella challenge weighs in at over 6.5 lbs and comes loaded with shrimp, calamari, chicken, pork, eggplant, and peppers, all inside a massive pan of rice at Daily Meal in Alcobendas, just outside Madrid. I've got one hour to work through it, plus two drinks I have to finish along the way. My friend "Dave Cheats" would also be attempting the challenge alongside me.

This challenge costs €25 whether you win or not, but if you win, you get your photo up on their wall of fame, and you get to eat free once per weekday for a full month. Since I wouldn't be able to make use of that if I won, the restaurant agreed to donate my prize to local charity, “Cáritas Madrid.”

Attempting to Finish This Spanish Burger Challenge in 10 Minutes!

Day 26 of the tour brings me to Bentley's in Spain for a group hangout with fellow Spanish content creators Joe Burgerchallenge, Sezar Blue, La Cocina Del Pirata , and Dave Cheats. We were all taking on the "Reto del Kilo" burger challenge, which has a variety of burger options. to choose from. I went with the Cabrales, a bold Spanish blue cheese burger with rocket salad and caramelized onions, something a little outside what I'd normally pick.

What was supposed to be a relaxed day turned into a bit of pressure when the local news showed and my friends were making bold claims, saying I could easily finish this in 10 minutes. With the local news intrigued to see me accomplish this feat, I felt the need to try and not disappoint!

40 People FAILED This Quadruple Cheeseburger Challenge in Spain!

Day 25 of my food challenge tour brings me to Bourbon Cafe Steak House in Illescas, Spain, right outside Toledo. The challenge in front of me is a massive stack of four half-pound beef burgers layered with bacon and veggies, plus a side of cheese fries and loaded nachos. There's a 20 minute time limit to get through it all. Win, and the meal is free and I'll be rewarded a t-shirt too!

I'll also be sharing with four others, each taking on their own challenge! We've got Randy Santel and Raina at the table with me, along with local Spanish food challenge creators Dave Cheats and Joe Burgerchallenge.
