🚦 New Safety Upgrades at Six Corners! 🚦

We’re happy to share that Left Turn Traffic Calming has been installed at Six Corners — using bollards to guide drivers into making slower, safer turns.

By tightening turning angles, these bollards improve visibility for people walking and encourage drivers to take turns more carefully. The result? Safer streets, fewer crashes, and more peace of mind for everyone crossing at this busy intersection.

A big thank you to CDOT and Alderman Jim Gardiner for putting safety first and making Six Corners a safer place for neighbors, families, and visitors.

Alderman Jim Gardiner said that his office has been receiving some negative feedback about the car wash proposal for the former Produce Center site, as some community members would prefer a more family-oriented use for the site, which backs up to the St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish and School.
