Sonic Trepanation Records Chicago Independent Founded in 2017, Sonic Trepanation has set out to release albums that we feel can make a difference in peoples lives.

Our founder, Ryan Zengou, went from following the Grateful Dead to following his passion for medicine. He became a neurosurgeon and still practices today. Yet, his love off music never wavered. Being in a position to release independent records and give them a chance to be heard around the world is a blessing we don't take lightly. Our plan is to release a handful of records every year that we car

e deeply about. This will let us really focus on each artist and give each record the attention it deserves. We have signed our first artist and are thrilled with the album they have produced. Stay tuned for our official launch.
