Virtual production is the answer to the riddle, “How can you shoot anywhere in the world, from a single stage?”.

Need proof? Just recently we filmed NINE locations in ONE day using TWO concurrent LED screens. Such is the power of this tool that’s sweeping the production world (and maximizing client dollars). As always, it was an absolute pleasure collabing with Miller Creative, Inc. and Mark James to challenge the impossible and continue rewriting the rules for productions of any scale.

Using Virtual Production for high-end food spots is…kind of a no-brainer. Which is why we’re particularly excited about this recent demo we did. We wanted to shoot gorgeous food photography that would have been nearly impossible to capture on location, and in the process prove that there are arguably more advantages to using in-camera VFX for this style of shooting than any other.

We’re continually amazed at the way virtual production is allowing us to think larger, as well as its ability to unlock creative possibilities for every story. Even if that story is a simple as “burger look good” 😂

Coming soon, one of the first uses of virtual production in a documentary 🤩 !!

We’re thrilled to have been involved in the making of “The Faraway, Nearby”, a stunning film about one of the earliest pioneers in gravitational wave detection, physicist Joseph Weber.

Beyond being a fascinating, artistic portrait of a legendary scientific figure, the film–currently in post-production–is also a tremendous example of how virtual production can empower artists to rethink their creative approach to a project.
