The Windy Word is a Chicago-based blog dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on the latest topics in music, culture, fashion, art, and more. The Xicano ran blog also has a strong focus on the Latin@ culture here in Chicago. We also hope to bring awareness to troubling community social and political issues, and provide a platform for you to support and help those in need. You can expect to find music
from local artists in Chicago. Users can make music submissions that can be featured on the site--anything from full albums, to singles. Additionally, expect to find music videos, interviews, and v-logs produced and edited exclusively by The Windy Word. There will also be a subtopic for fashion, with our own clothing line, and website merch. Expect to find blog posts on the latest styles sweeping the Chicagoan street wear scene. The Art section will feature still images and short films exploring the art and artists found in the streets. Users can make an art submission and have their own art featured on the page.
