P.N.P./daPimP&daPLaYa is not your typical rap group. They write, produce, and engineer their own music. P.N.P. consists of JDiGGA a.k.a. daPimP, and PrettyBoyLoyd a.k.a. daPLaYa. The Rap group was formed in 2000.

With 'Black Lives' P.N.P. latch on to the international social activist movement - - that campaigns against violence and systemic racism towards black people.

Yet, P.N.P. expand the scope: "BLACK LIVES MATTER/ ALL LIVES MATTER"!!, which we whole heartedly support.

Any form of violence, racism, bigotry towards our fellow human beings is to be condemned.

Set aside the social statement, this track is damn good! Catchy and memorable.

The lyrical content of 'Black Lives' is deep, honest, and heavily impregnated with social activism. The rap vocals are genuinely expressive and well attuned with the mood created by a fine and skilfully-varied instrumental selection.

Solid beat, engaging rhythm. What else?

".... Black lives matter/ All lives matter.."

Surely these aren't lyrics to be forgotten easily.
